Food Science and Nutrition Network for Africa (FOSNNA) has managed to secure funding to support some African Undergraduate Students to do (partially or complete) their food science and nutrition related research in other laboratories and also funding for the purpose of student exchange, orientation and attending a course in other African institution with the necessary facilities. |
- The fund is based on one of our strategy to encourage individuals to establish linkages with various universities and research institute.
- It is targeted to support at least 10 post graduate students (from different African countries).
- FOSNNA will provide stipend of about 500 USD per month + bus or air ticket (cheapest possible) + limited chemical cost + very limited or no bench fee.
- The purpose is to support postgraduate students to do short term research (about three months) in a laboratory where there is capacity for performing a lab based research.
- Applicants are expected to establish link with the institution where they want to do the research.
- The topic of the research, justifications, methodology, budget, acceptance by the host institution, etc will be considered to evaluate the applications.
